The proposal refers a unclosed hypothesis for requalification and revitalisation of the Pontão da Praia da Ribeira in Cascais, Portugal, as an additional proposal to the structural reinforcement project developed by the Edgar Cardoso - Engenharia e Laboratório de Estruturas.
The proposal is not represent as a definitive project, but as a starting point for analysing, reflection, debate and subsequent materialisation of what will be a fair perspective of economic and scenic structural of the Pontão da Ribeira.
Bearing in mind the environmental, landscape and social concerns to which no urban intervention, today, can be marginal, the proposal of intention was, at this stage, not having all the ambitions of the Cascais City Council, intended in a responsible attitude with respect for local economic activities, geography, history, urban heritage and the natural landscape where it is located, with the specificity of understanding differentiation and the singularity of social fabric of Cascais.
